The Communications Workers of America union on Friday released some of the terms of its five-year interim agreement with AT-T for AT-T workers in nine countries in the South. On June 30, 2017, a staff member actively participating in bachelor`s or postgraduate studies at an accredited institution that is not on the approved list in the TAP non-management ATT will make significant progress towards the diploma for courses in this cycle that will begin before September 1, 2019. A small agreement has also been reached regarding the contract of AT-T Corp. (CWA Telecommunications and Technologies Unit) Puerto Rico, which covers a handful of instigators in Puerto Rico. The two four-year contracts together cover some 3,000 workers and will be subject to ratification of union membership in the coming days. The new agreement included wage increases of 13.25%, pensions and 401 (k) planned improvements, improved job security and additional customer service positions.
